AFTER launching into the spotlight on Radio 1, Jordan North went onto cement himself as a household name.
The star enjoyed new found fame on I'm A Celebrity, and now he's landed a job on Celebrity Big Brother.
Who is DJ Jordan North?
Born in York on February 14, 1990, and raised in Burnley, Lancashire, Jordan North is a radio presenter, who shot to fame on Radio 1.
He graduated with a BA in media production from the University of Sunderland before launching his career in radio at BBC Radio 5 Live as a researcher.

From then on, Jordan's career in radio and presenting has been wide ranging.
He worked at Blackpool Pleasure Beach's in-house radio station and Preston FM before going on to present shows on Capital North East and Capital Manchester.

Jordan began his own podcast in 2018 named Help I Sexted My Boss in which he helped listeners with their dilemmas alongside his pal and etiquette guru William Hanson.
He also hosted the Bafta TV Awards red-carpet alongside fellow Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo in 2019.
Jordan is a huge Burnley FC fan, repeating over and over again on I'm A Celebrity that his "happy place" is Turf Moor.
In 2024, it was announced that Jordan was the new host of Capital Breakfast.

Why did Jordan North leave Radio 1?
Jordan kicked off his career on Radio 1 as a freelancer in 2014.
After working his way up the ladder he landed his own weekend show, before taking over from Nick Grimshaw on drivetime in September 2021.
He hosted this show with Vick Hope until 2024, when he announced he was leaving the station.
A statement released by the BBC on February 16, 2024, said: "Radio 1 will be saying goodbye to Jordan North.
"Jordan has been behind some of the most hilarious and entertaining moments on air over the years, and has been a constant source of inspiration for younger presenters.
"Thank you for everything."
Taking to Instagram, Jordan thanked his followers for their positive reaction, and said: "Hello everyone.
"I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my wonderful colleagues / talented producers at Radio 1 who many I consider to be friends for life and will miss greatly, you've all reached out to me over the past 24 hours and it really has meant a lot.
"To my amazing fellow presenters I wish I could thank you all personally, I've loved working with you it's been an absolute blast!"
On February 21, 2024, it was announced Jordan would be taking over from Roman Kemp on Capital.
He said: “I am beyond excited to be joining Global and to wake up the nation every morning on Capital.
"I can’t wait to start working with the amazing team here and get stuck in, to create the most fun and entertaining breakfast show.
"Getting to host Capital Breakfast has always been a dream of mine and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I simply couldn’t turn down."
When will Jordan North be on Celebrity Big Brother?
Celebrity Big Brother is returning with a brand new line-up of stars entering the famous house.
Before you get too excited, Jordan isn't a new housemate but he will be part of the Late & Live team, which follows the main show.
Returning hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will be joined by Jordan, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse, and Strictly star Layton Williams.
Each will take turns as the Celebrity House Guest - offering hilarious and entertaining commentary and debate alongside a star-studded cast of fellow star guests.
Is DJ Jordan North married?
Jordan is not married and is understood to be single.
The only time he has ever talked about his love life was back in 2020, just before he went on I'm A Celebrity.
Speaking to the , he said: “I am single at the moment. But that is not the reason why I am going on the show!”
He continued: “I just want to have fun and this is something that will stick with you forever.”
Nothing has been reported about his relationship status since.
When was Jordan North on I'm A Celebrity and how did he do?
In 2020, Jordan appeared on I'm A Celeb alongside stars including Jessica Plummer, Vernon Kay, Shane Richie and Mo Farah.
He made it all the way to the final, but was pipped at the last minute by author and presenter Giovanna Fletcher, married to McFly's Tom.
Throughout his time on the show, he certainly made an impression - giving viewers laugh after laugh during the trials.
The brave star faced everything from creepy crawlies to karaoke - and even threw up within minutes of the show starting.
After the show ended, Jordan admitted seeing himself on screen made him want to make some cosmetic adjustments.
He also told the Sun on Sunday: "I'm going to get my teeth done. I saw a few clips last night and I thought, hmm.
