Jacquelina Jossa to return to I’m A Celeb but turns down offer to re-enter the camp
JUNGLE queen Jacqueline Jossa will return to the ITV show this year — but turned down the chance to re-enter the camp.
The ex-EastEnders star, 28, was offered a full cameo in the 20th series.
It could have seen the mum-of-two spend a night in camp and introduce a trial.
Instead, she agreed to simply hand over her jungle crown and staff to the eventual victor.
Other past winners including Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash and Charlie Brooks are taking part, and have been told to “prepare for all eventualities”.
Jacqueline, married to ex-Towie star Dan Osborne, is about to make her West End debut in A Christmas Carol.
A source said: “Jacqueline is really grateful to ITV.
“But while she was offered the chance to make a cameo she didn’t want to steal anyone else’s thunder.
“She’s had her jungle experience and they should have their own.
“She accepted the chance to hand over the crown but it’ll be a flying visit.
“She’ll be there and back in a day.”
Jacqueline says fellow EastEnders Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer will be in the final five.
She said: “Obviously I’ve met Shane, I haven’t met Jessica but she seems absolutely lovely and I feel she could potentially win.”
