PIERS Morgan clashed with co-host Susanna Reid about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on today's Good Morning Britain - sniping: "You're supposed to be a journalist!"
The long-time TV partners regularly bicker over the couple, with Susanna largely defending the Duke and Duchess of Sussex while Piers is not a fan.
The pair made their return to the ITV breakfast show today after their half term break, and it was an explosive episode full of debate.
Harry and Meghan were discussed following their recent pregnancy announcement and news of their upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey, and Piers called for them to be removed from the Royal Family's line of succession.
Discussing the couple's pregnancy announcement with three journalist guests for the segment, 55-year-old Piers ranted: "They just fought a privacy battle in court, they have billed themselves as the great prince and princess of privacy.
"Yet when it comes to revealing a private moment like a pregnancy - they didn't have to tell us they were pregnant!"
Susanna, 50, pulled faces and rolled her eyes as he spoke, eventually interrupting: "Do you not understand the difference between them wanting some control over what is released to the public? It's called boundaries!"
But she was outnumbered, with all three guests agreeing with Piers as the star hit back: "You're talking to four journalists who don't agree with you.
"You're supposed to be a journalist, how can you think that?"
Susanna replied: "Because I'm not someone who just thinks what everyone else in the room thinks."
But her co-star continued: "How can any journalist think people in public life have the right to control their media? That's not how it works!"
The pair continued bickering, with Susanna arguing that Piers "wouldn't want every aspect of his life reported on", while Piers maintained that Harry and Meghan can't only reap the benefits of their public image.

This wasn't Piers' only Harry and Meghan related run-in today, with another Good Morning Britain guest branding him a "petty, fragile man baby" later in the show.
Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu was defending the couple - insisting that Piers has a personal vendetta against Meghan because she once "rejected" him - referencing the presenter's claims Meghan "ghosted" him after she met Harry having previously met him for a drink at his local pub.
However, Piers appeared to take Dr Shola's comments in his stride, laughing off the tense debate on social media afterwards where he said he "likes her style".
