MAMA June's daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird claimed she was rejected for a job because of her mom's public battle with her addiction to cocaine.
She also revealed that after doing reality TV for ten years.
Pumpkin revealed in an interview that her mother's public addiction to coke has prevented her from landing 9-5 jobs that will help her sustain her daughter, Ella, and her sister, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.
In an interview with , she said: "I've had things happen, especially during Mama's addiction, where I was trying to apply for jobs and they wouldn't hire me because they had seen what was going on with her.
"One specific job, I was going to work at an outlet place, and the lady – that was the first thing she brought.
She said, 'Your mom is all in the media and I don't want that brought to work.' It's just like, just because my mom is a certain type of person doesn't mean I am."
This has certainly placed a strain on Pumpkin, 21, and her husband, Josh, who are trying to make ends meet as they not only have to take care of their daughter Ella, but they also have to care for , 15, and even sister Jessica, who moved in with them for a few months back in 2020.
She revealed: "Raising a three-year-old and a 15-year-old is completely different. One, you just give them a toy and go about your day but Alana needs a $200 pair of shoes or something and that's hard for me sometimes because you know, we work normal jobs too.
"We do this filming thing but we aren't millionaires, we're not Kim Kardashian. We don't make that type of money and it is stressful because sometimes we've had to let bills pass because Alana needed a new pair of shoes.
"Or we've had to let bills pass because Ella needs new clothes. We always make sure that the kids have more than what we had at their age."
In the of this season, Pumpkin revealed that Josh has had to travel between states to find a steady job as a construction worker.
The couple began having issues when Josh was forced to spend the week in North Carolina while Pumpkin stayed in Georgia raising Ella and Honey.

Pumpkin – who hasn't seen her mom in over a year – also revealed that she's ready to call it quits with reality TV.
She said: "Honestly, I want to go ahead and say goodbye if I'm being completely honest. Only because Alana grew up doing this and you don't really have a normal life during production.
"We have two days off a week and I can't get my life together in two days. I enjoy doing the show. I enjoy the income that it brings. I enjoy the lives that we impact."
Pumpkin continued: "Ultimately, I want to go and be a nurse at a hospital. I want to go and make an impact in a hospital somewhere.
"TV is not something that I think any of us really want to do anymore, but we just keep pushing ourselves."
The mother of one added: "A lot of people don't realize that. They're like, 'Oh, well the money's nice. You won't make that anywhere else.'
"That may be true, but I also can't get back all the birthdays I've missed from [my husband] Josh's family. I also can't get back the family reunions, birthday parties, Christmases and things like that that I have missed."
After spending 10 years on TV, Pumpkin also said she feels the shows she has been on "took away" from her childhood.
She said: "I do feel like it was so quick. I was 11, Alana was 6, and we've been doing it ever since then. And it's frustrating."
However, Pumpkin also called out the positive things TV has brought her life: "I also say 'no,' that it didn't ruin our childhood, because we were able to do a lot more things than the average people that were our age.
"I'm very grateful for the things that TV land has brought to us and been able to allow us to do, but it definitely is getting to the point where I think it's time for us to say goodbye."
