NEW BBC drama The Syndicate is quickly becoming known for it's soap cameos, and tonight was no different.
Viewers went wild when an ex-Corrie favourite popped up on the show and looked almost recognisable as she was caked in fake tan.
Fans were thrilled when actress Angela Lonsdale, who played Curly Watts' wife Emma Taylor on the ITV soap, made an appearance on The Syndicate this evening.
Playing an over-the-top dog owner called Mrs levine, Angela could be seen smothered in bronze make-up which was topped off with blue eyeshadow.
The Kay Mellor drama tells the tale of a group of Kennel workers who win the lottery together.
Although Angela was only on the show for a few minutes, viewers were still thrilled to see she was back on the box.
They immediatly took to Twitter to share their joy.
This one tweeted: "Look, it's the woman who played Curly Watts's wife years ago on Coronation Street!"
While another excited fan said: "Another soap star in The Syndicate! It's Emma from Corrie"
While this viewer seemed confused: "Was this woman once on Emmerdale??!"
Angela shot to fame on Corrie when she married the loveable Curly on the show.
She was on the soap for three years, before leaving to join The Bill in 2003.
Since then she has starred in other soaps like Doctors and Holby City.
Angela also played Grace Lane in Our Girl.
Meanwhile, last week fans were equally as thrilled when FOUR soap stars popped up in the opening episode.
First to appear was Corrie's Kym Marsh, who was known for playing barmaid Michelle.
She was joined in the episode by two fellow actresses known for their work on the cobbles.
Katie McGlynn and Gaynor Faye also both had roles in the show.
Joining these soaps stars was former Emmerdale star Emily Head, who plays one of the jackpot winners.
Each series of The Syndicate tells a different story about a different group of people winning the jackpot and how it affects their lives.
Although the story does ring true for some lottery syndicates, the series isn't based on a real-life story.
