VINNIE Jones took a swipe at Piers Morgan today as he told his Good Morning Britain replacement Alastair Campbell "you look 10 years younger".
Alastair, 63, has been guest hosting the breakfast show this week - sitting in 56-year-old Piers' seat after he sensationally quit the programme back in March.
And Vinnie appeared to be thrilled to see him when he joined the breakfast show for an interview this morning.
Kicking off the video chat, the ex footballer joked: "I must say Piers, you look 10 years younger!"
Turning to co-host Susanna Reid, Vinnie continued: "I don't know what you've done to him, Susanna, but he looks 10 years younger - well done, Piers."
Alastair lapped up the compliment as he chuckled along, and the show's guest continued with the joke at the end of the interview too.
Wrapping up, Vinnie said: "All the best, Alastair - honestly, you look 10 years younger than the other fella."
Alastair laughed as he replied: "I'm about 13 years older I think!"
Vinnie and Susanna then quipped that a few more weeks of early starts would take an effect soon.
The comments will no doubt come as a blow for Piers, who has been locked in a bitter war of words with Alastair following his GMB appointment.
The two men have been embroiled in a feud for 18 years, with the latest spat coming after Piers sniped that Alastair "isn't a celebrity" following a Twitter misunderstanding.
Their most notable clash was over the Labour government's role in the 2003 Iraq war, in which Campbell was a leading figure.

Piers and Alastair's bitter rivalry was even set to turn physical last year for a Sports Relief boxing match - but Piers pulled out.
He said in March 2020: "I mulled it over, would it be a good or bad career move if I was to kill Alastair Campbell in a boxing ring?
"I took an honest human view. I decided to spare Alastair Campbell's life."
This is the second time that Alastair has succeeded Piers in a job - in 2014 he took over Piers' slot covering interviews for men's fashion and lifestyle magazine, GQ.
