Nicki Minaj breaks her silence after father Robert was killed in a hit-and-run crash calling it a ‘devastating loss’

NICKI Minaj broke her silence after her father Robert Maraj was killed in a hit-an-run crash.

The 38-year-old rapper called it “the most devastating loss of my life.”

reflected on her father’s passing in a on Friday, writing: “[Though] I can’t really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as yet; I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life.

“I find myself wanting to call him all the time. More so now that he’s gone. Life is funny that way.”

Prosecutors alleged that the Long Island driver got out of his vehicle and asked Robert if he was okay, though left the scene without offering help or alerting authorities about the incident, according to .

Despite their rocky history, the rapper was reportedly “heartbroken and in shock” over Robert’s passing.

While , Carol revealed how despite subjecting her to years of violence and abuse when her children were little, she and her family had  and were left devastated by his death.

She claimed she visited Robert on Friday before he left the house to go to the store, noting that she was the last person to see him alive.
