Love Island’s Demi Jones puts on a brave face for a night out three days after revealing she’s got thyroid cancer
LOVE Island's Demi Jones put on a brave face on a night out after revealing she has cancer.
The 22-year-old star headed out on the town in London wearing a daring white dress after partying in her hometown of Portsmouth.
She had told fans with a snap of a heaving table of drinks: "Considering the news I got a couple of days ago, I feel like this amount of pornstar martinis is definitely allowed."
Love Island fans were devastated last week when Demi, a much-loved character in the 2020 series, revealed her diagnosis.
She said: "Hi guys, I got my results today and unfortunately I have thyroid cancer.
"The tumour has been removed but I'm now due to have more surgery to remove the rest of my thyroid."
"I'm staying very positive and I'm a strong girl so I'll be fine. Thank you for your love and support always. I'll bounce back stronger."
Demi went on to plead with fans to make sure that they're doing all they can to catch the disease during the early stages.
