GOOD Morning Britain was thrown into chaos today as a live report was disrupted by screeching sirens in a drill.
Correspondent Katy Rickitt was on location in Middlesbrough to discuss England manager Gareth Southgate's upcoming Euro announcements.
As she tried to speak, loud sirens drowned Katy out - with the reporter speaking up to try and battle the noise.
Host Ranvir Singh remarked from the studio: "Nice work there, Katy" - praising her colleague for powering through the "distraction".
Adil Ray then asked: "What's going on, is everything okay over there?
"There are sirens going off, do you need to evacuate the city or something?"
The sirens grew deafeningly loud as Katy burst into laughter, reassuring the team: "It's fine!
"We've been told it is a drill, just a litttle annoying - I'm sorry."
She then jokingly made wrapping up motions with her arms, quipping that the siren was actually a warning for Southgate to release who has made the football team.
Katy giggled: "Wrap it up, Gareth - time is running out."
The chaos came after Piers Morgan made a shock return to the breakfast show, with his old stomping ground promoting his Life Stories series this morning.
Good Morning Britain aired a clip from tonight's show, featuring Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.
At the weekend, Piers exclusively told The Sun that producers are desperate for him to return to the breakfast show due to its plummeting ratings.
He quit the programme back in March after refusing to apologise for comments made about Meghan Markle.
And just minutes before the Life Stories plug, Adil appeared to take a thinly-veiled swipe at his former co-star.
Discussing Naomi Osaka's decision to withdraw from press conferences because of the toll they take on her mental health, Adil said: "The debate has come once again [because of] our attitude to mental health.
"And I just find it despicable how some people can just trash somebody when they say they have mental health issues."

The breakfast show then cut to a local news report.
Piers was among Naomi's critics yesterday, branding her "an arrogant spoiled brat" as he called into question the validity of her mental health issues.

He also accused the Duchess of Sussex of lying about being suicidal during her and Prince Harry's bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview in March.
And at the weekend, Piers told The Sun that young people need to toughen up and stop claiming they have mental health issues in an exclusive interview.
