Why isn’t The Masked Dancer on tonight?

But The Masked Dancer won't be airing tonight (Wednesday, June 2), leaving fans of The Masked Singer spin-off fuming and eager for the unmasking of the remaining dancers.

Why isn't The Masked Dancer on tonight?
The Masked Dancer was scheduled to air every evening at 7.30pm until Saturday, June 5, since its first episode on Saturday, May 29.
But ITV has cancelled the show tonight - Wednesday, June 2.
Instead The Masked Dancer is set to be replaced by international football.
Footie fans can tune in to watch England's friendly match against Austria, from 7.30pm, with kick-off at 8pm.
When will The Masked Dancer return?
Furious fans have taken to social media to express their frustration after The Masked Dancer's cancellation.
But they won't have to wait long before the show returns to their screens.
The hit TV programme will make a comeback this Thursday, June 3, ahead of the grand final on Saturday, June 5.
On Tuesday, June 1, viewers saw the fourth elimination, as Rubber Chicken was revealed to be skiing legend Eddie the Eagle.
Who is left on The Masked Dancer UK?
The Masked Dancer judges have not enjoyed much success with their guesses, believing Rubber Chicken was Bradley Walsh or Bill Bailey before Winter Olympian Eddie the Eagle was unmasked.
On Monday, May 31, burlesque star Dita Von Teese was revealed as Beetroot, joining Viper aka Jordan Banjo and Louise Redknapp, formerly known as Flamingo, as the unmasked celebrities.
It means Beagle has joined Carwash, Frog and Squirrel in the next round of The Masked Dancer
They will now come up against the likes of Zip and Knickerbocker Glory, along with Llama and Scarecrow.
