KATE Garraway was forced to leave her sick husband Derek at home while she took her kids on holiday to Cornwall.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, recruited her mother, father and sisters-in-law to help look after her husband as she treated the kids to well-deserved break.
Derek is the longest-suffering Covid patient in the country and currently requires round-the-clock care.
Kate shared a video of her kids along with her cousins, nieces, nephews and her mum and dad playing football as the sun set by the seaside.
She captioned the clip: "#paradise Thanks to the wonderful mum dad & sisters draper for coming down to be with Derek (with nurses too ofcourse) so I could take my mum dad , Darcey & Billyto Cornwall .
"And thanks so so much to @peugeotuk for lending us a car to get us there! We got to see my brother aunts uncles cousins & new baby cousins! None of us have been able to get to see each other since Xmas 2019 .
"So much love & v emotional - not that it made our annual football match any less competitive!!! Hope you have all had a great #halfterm xxx #specialmemories"
Kate and Derek share kids Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, together.
Derek was allowed to return home for the first time back in April after being debilitated by Covid.
Kate recently opened up about her husband's condition to Andrew Marr and said he is a "long way" from the person she knew.
She told him on May 23: "He is devastated by Covid. He can't really move, his communication is minimal.
"There are moment when they're up, so in those moment you feel you know he's in there. He was a lot of memory but accessing it is limited."
Kate heartbreakingly concluded: "He is a long way from the Derek Draper you knew, but he is home and alive."
It comes after Kate reflected on "many, very dark hours" amid Derek’s Covid battle as she thanked the nurses who treated him, while speaking on Heart radio.

Discussing the NHS on International Nurses Day, she thanked the team around Derek for their "incredible care" that “hauled Derek back from the frightening place he was in”.
Chatting to hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, she told listeners: “I often think we all go 'that doctor who saved my life', 'thank you to that incredible surgeon'.
"But as I’ve seen over the last 14 months, it’s actually the care of nurses that - especially when you’re dealing with something like COVID where there is no cure, and not enough is yet known about how to treat the symptoms.
"It’s their incredible care that has saved Derek’s life. It’s that simple.”
She went on to say how she was previously “ignorant” about the work nurses do and their “wide spectrum” of talents.
