When is The Boys season 3 released?

The third season of the superhero action series The Boys will be released on June 3, 2022 confirmed Amazon on January 7.

When it is released, it will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

A third season of the series was already given the green light by Amazon in anticipation of its second season, due in September.

Speaking at Comic-Con: At Home back in July 2020, executive producer of the shoe Seth Rogen said: "Because this show has fans and it is watched by people like you, they have decided to renew it.

Who is in the cast?

The Boys stars Keith Urban as leader of the vigilante group, Billy Butcher, while Antony Starr plays the Superman-esque leader of The Seven, Homelander.

Jensen Ackles joins the drama as the original superhero, created by Compound V in the 1940s.

What happened in The Boys season 2?

The Boys is based on the comic books of the same name and follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they take on superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.

Season two left us with several revelations.

Stormfront's true identity was revealed and in the finale of the season, she was injured by Ryan's laser.

Ryan also accidentally killed his mother, Becca, in the process.

The Seven also reinstated two members — Starlight and A-Train.

Little known to the others, it was also revealed that Congresswoman Neuman is a supe herself and is behind all the mysterious head explosions.

What will happen in The Boys season 3?

Soldier Boy will turning things upside down in season three.

Showrunner Eric Kripke revealed during a Twitter Q&A that he's "gonna be swearing a lot and doing a lot of filthy things. There may or may not be a little sex involved.

"He's been around since WWII, so he's sort of this mainstay of Vought and so through him, we get to see Vought through the decades."
