This amount will nearly "double" his net worth, insiders claim.

While his salary has never been officially confirmed, it’s been reported he earned around $8MILLION per season of the ABC franchise.

Along with a picture of him during a reunion show, he wrote: "I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter.

What is Chris Harrison doing now?

Chris been the only host of the entire series since the show first premiered in 2002. 

In the two decades he’s been the face of Bachelor Nation, he’s gone on to host spinoffs The Bachelorette, , Bachelor Pad, and Bachelor: Winter Games.

It is not known what he will do next, but with "$20million" burning a hole in his pocket, we doubt he'll be bored.

Reps for Chris and ABC did not respond to The Sun's request for comment on his departure from the show.
