Season one of the show saw morning news anchor Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) fighting to keep her job after her on-air partner Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell) is dismissed following a sexual misconduct scandal.

This leads to a rivalry between Alex and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon), a field reporter new to the world of television journalism.

In Apple TV+'s new multi-title trailer, Reese is shown lying on her bed looking troubled.

We then see a short clip of Jennifer dressed in a bright white coat looking emotional as she stands in the snow.

Following this scene Alex's husband Jason (Jack Davenport) is shown telling Alex: "I’m begging you to come back to me."
