GOOD Morning Britain was hit with over 2,000 Ofcom complaints after a segment about cutting off family and friends who haven't been vaccinated.
The episode, which aired on 1st June, debated whether it is acceptable to cut contact with those who do not choose to have a coronavirus vaccine.
The topic sparked heated debate both on and off screen, with many angry viewers taking to Twitter at the time to slam Good Morning Britain's suggestion.
Now it has been revealed that the ITV breakfast show received 2,077 complaints for the episode, with concerned fans reporting it in their droves.
The programme saw student Dominique Samuels debate Nick Hewer as well as the show's host Adil Ray.
Former Countdown host Nick, 77, confessed to contemplating not inviting a pal to dinner as he feared she hadn't been vaccinated.
Dominique argued at the time: "I think that most people will be worrying about clawing their businesses and their mental health back from the depths of hell.
"Not whether or not they are going to segregate someone from a dinner party."
She also slammed treating people differently for their lifestyle choices, calling it "controlling".
