Is Sunny Hostin a Democrat or a Republican?
The 52-year-old lawyer, columnist, journalist, and social commentator is a part of the Democratic party.
Back in February 2021, Hostin, alongside The View co-host Ana Navarro, confronted guest, political commentator in regards to his "racial coverage" of former President.
“People in the Black community don’t trust you anymore,” Hostin told Jones, who is part of the Democratic party himself.
Hostin went on to say that Jones is perceived as a political opportunist and chameleon who provided racial coverage for Trump after he had spoken frequently about Trump’s contributions to the Black community.

Just recently in June 2021, Hostin opened up about how she feels threatened and scared as a woman of color when she sees an American flag following Trump's presidency and believes that he changed the meaning of it.
"When I drive into a neighborhood and it’s not July 4th and I’m not in a predominantly military household neighborhood and there are flags, Americans flags, everywhere alongside Trump flags, alongside flags with stars in a circle, I feel threatened because the message is very clear: It’s a message of White supremacy, it’s a message of racism, and it’s a message of ‘their country, not my country,'" Hostin said to The View Co-host Whoopi Goldberg during an episode.
Most recently, she made headlines in April after she to guilty verdict, for the killing of back in May 2020.

Is Sunny Hostin married?
Hostin has been married to husband or Manny Hostin since 1998.
In her 2020 memoir, I Am These Truths: A Memoir of Identity, Justice, and Living Between Worlds, she opens up about meeting Emmanuel during a church service after going for a run.
"I’d been there about five minutes when I turned around, Hostin recalled. “And in walked Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Hostin. He was gorgeous, decked out in a beautifully tailored suit. … All I could think about was how I could meet this man. … I looked ridiculous. I would have to sit and wait. My eyes were glued to his every move."
Following an initial conversation at a bagel shop after church, Hostin was determined to pursue Manny and it wasn't until a party at his apartment a few days after their initial encounter that he took an interest in her.
"He would tell folks that we’d met in a bagel shop, but I’d let him and everyone else know that we’d met in church. That’s where the connection happened. He just hadn’t seen me. … Two years later, we got married," Hostin said.

Does Sunny Hostin have children?
Hostin has two children together with her husband Manny.
Their son, Gabriel, 18, was born August 15, 2002, almost five years after the couple first got married.

Four years later, daughter Paloma, 14, was born May 4, 2006.
Hostin opened up to Closer Weekly back in 2020 about how much her kids mean to her.
"In my legal career, prosecuting child sex crimes is what I’m most proud of. Although, every moment I almost feel like the best is yet to come. But the most surreal experience has been having my children. They’re the most important to me, and I’m most proud of them,” Hostin said.
