When was the Love Island 2021 final and who was in it?

LOVE Island 2021 has finally drawed to a close, as super couple Millie and Liam were crowed series 7 winners.

Following Kaz and Tyler finishing in fourth place and Faye and Teddy in third, Millie and Liam were crowned the winners, leaving Chloe and Toby were as runners-up.

What time was the Love Island 2021 final?

The Love Island took place on Monday, August 23, 2021.

And an extra special treat for fans, the show ran until the extended time of 10.30pm - although some viewers were left frustrated by the amount of ad breaks during the show.

Who was on the Love Island 2021 final?

The final episode kicked off with  entering the villa, as the four remaining couples stood together in front of a crowd of viewers.

Those being the four couples battling it out to get their hands on the prize money whom were Chloe Burrows and Toby AromolaranLiam Reardon and Millie CourtFaye Winter and Teddy Soares, and Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruikshank.

The final four were confirmed after Jake and Liberty decided to leave the villa after they split up with just three days to go.

What happened in the Love Island final?

Due to the pandemic it was unclear this would be infront of viewers, however fans were delighted to see infact the final of the show in front of an audience.

The couples all shared declarations of love for one another, leaving viewers in tears as Millie and Liam kicked off the emotional speeches.

The first vote reveal saw Kaz and Tyler called in 4th place, before Faye and Teddy were called in 3rd.

And then came the big moment when Laura revealed Millie and Liam had won with Chloe and Toby in second.

Laura Whitmore offered the winning couple two envelopes-one with the £50,000 prize money, the other with nothing inside.

Millie then chose 'Love' meaning she shared the £50,000 with Liam.

So far, no one on Love Island has ever taken the entire cash prize all for themselves.
