After a few Covid pandemic lockdowns, bosses aren't taking any chances with the sex-starved singletons so any bed-hopping and between-the-sheets action will be kept strictly clean fun.

A source told The Sun: “The safety of the Islanders is paramount and the show’s bosses can’t run the risk of anyone catching a life-changing STD in the villa.”

None of the islanders in the villa have any STDs.

Fame-hungry wannabes who have contracted herpes are not allowed to take part in the ITV2 dating show as it is incurable and easy to pass on via sexual contact.

Genital ulcers were also of concern as the sores are a sign of nasty infections including herpes, syphilis, and chancroid.

Contestants had to pass their STD screening with a clean sheet before being selected for the line up.

In recent years Love Island’s raunchy sex scenes have become few and far between after bosses started censoring them off the show.

They even cracked down on booze to stop drunken sex sessions in a bid to make the show more family friendly.
