THE Big Breakfast reboot will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan on Channel 4.
The broadcaster is reviving the show as part of Black to Front, which will see "Black talent and featuring Black contributors, to champion Black voices and stories."
The anarchic entertainment show - which ran from 1992 to 2002 - was originally hosted by Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin, before they passed the mantel to others such as Denise van Outen and Johnny Vaughan.
Now Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu will be the hosts for the rebooted version in September.
Phil Gayle will return to read the news and the show will be filmed at its original East London location, the Lock Keepers' Cottages.
Speaking about Big Breakfast, AJ said: "I absolutely can’t wait to get stuck into The Big Breakfast. It is such an iconic show to be part of and I am buzzing it is finally coming back!
"I’m so looking forward to working with Mo and I can’t wait to wake up the nation!
"I’m thrilled to be part of Channel 4’s Black to Front – which quite rightly gives a platform to deserving Black British TV talent across our industry, both on and off-screen. It’s going to be really special."
Big Breakfast, big guests
The two hosts will be joined by a variety of celebrity guests.
An insider told The Sun that Channel 4 has their eye on Maya Jama to join the show.
A source said: “Maya would be the perfect fit to feature on the Big Breakfast reboot and Channel 4 has her firmly in its sights.
