NTAs 2021: What time are the National Television Awards on TV and can I still vote?

THE National Television Awards are back TONIGHT after an 18-month hiatus to celebrate the stars of the small screen.

The big event is being broadcast live from the O2 Arena in London from with comedian Joel Dommett hosting.

When are the NTAs on TV?

The show will return to ITV live from the O2 Arena in London.

You can watch them taking place from 7.30pm to 10pm on September 9, 2021.

Comedian, actor and Joel Dommett will be making his hosting debut this year, following in the footsteps of the likes of and .

Viewers at home can watch the NTAs on ITV and ITV Hub.

Can I still vote for the National Television Awards 2021?

Voting has now closed on both the NTA website and over the phones.

The vote closed at noon on Thursday, 9 September - seven hours before the broadcast begins.

There are 14 award categories and the winners are fully decided by public votes.

The awards up for grabs range from best Challenge TV Show and best New Drama, to best Presenter and best Serial Drama Performance, so there's a wide range of gongs up for grabs.

There's already been some controversy surrounding the nominees, with Phillip Schofield snubbed for best presenter but shortlisted despite his outburst on .

Meanwhile, Ant and Dec are making history after being nominated for the 20th year in a row.

And although it's too late to vote for your favourites, there are still a few last minute tickets available if you'd like to attend the event live.

Tickets are available through , with prices starting at £23.50.

Super-fans of the event can even splash out on The Five Star Experience, which will see them nab premium seats, a trip to the red carpet and a backstage tour.
