A Place in the Sun viewers rage as picky couple refuse ALL of Danni Menzies’ properties
A PLACE in the Sun viewers were left raging after a picky couple refused ALL of Danni Menzies' properties.
Thursday's edition of the Channel 4 show saw Danni meet Sue and Paul in Normandy, France.
The couple had a budget of £130,000 with a £10,000 wiggle room if necessary.
The first property was full of character, just as they had wanted, and was well within their budget.
However, they felt it needed too much work doing to it so ruled it out.
The second property was large with three bedrooms and plenty of character, but Paul and Sue said it was "too modern" for them.
Sue told Danni: "If we were looking for a house in England, it would be fine [as] it's got great space. It’s got potential, but what we’re looking for is something quintessentially French, and I think this house doesn’t deliver."
The couple were a bit divided about the third property, while house number four was an immediate no, with Sue reluctant to even see the bedrooms.
It all came down to property five, which the couple immediately liked, but during a discussion with Danni, they revealed there was a problem.
The semi-detached property was designed in such a way that someone was living above them, and it did not sit well with the couple.
Sue explained: "Any kind of renovation, you can change it and make it your own, but actually to have people living about you, you’re never going to be able to change that."
In the end, they decided not to pursue any of the five properties Danni had shown them, and viewers were raging.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "“Another free holiday, no intention of buying #aplaceinthesun."
Another added: ";She got a free holiday she wanted really didn’t she? #aplcaeinthesun.”
A third tweeted: "Out comes all the usual "learning curve" bullsh***.
They will never buy anything in France, but hey they had a nice little break #timewasters #aplaceinthesun."
