Bachelor In Paradise fans slam Grocery Store Joe’s ex Kendall Long for ‘not letting him move on as she still loves him’
BACHELOR In Paradise fans slammed “Grocery Store” Joe Amabile’s ex Kendall Long for “not letting him move on” as she joined the show to “win him back.”
The newest contestant to hit the beach has already caused major controversy for saying she “still loves and misses” Joe, 35, - whom she “almost married” before their split in early 2020.
Just as he muttered those words, Kendall came walking down the steps in a teeny tiny red bikini that flaunts her toned figure.
She immediately bypasses the rest of the people on the beach and ignores their introduction to ask for Joe.
Joe - who is cuddling with Serena on an outdoor daybed - looked shocked as she walked up to him with the opening line "hey butthead!"
In a confessional, the taxidermy collector confessed: "Joe was the closest thing I came to marriage.
"And I don’t want to just completely let go of him, I see Paradise as we began.
"My worst fears are seeing him hold hands with someone else, that would break be of course. I have love for him, of course.
"We still loved each other when we broke up so I don’t know if we ever stopped having that connection. I definitely miss Joe."
The episode ended on a "to be continued..." note as the status of the ex couple's relationship remains unseen.
Fans were furious at Kendall for joining the show, with one writing: “UGH to Kendall for trying to block Joe from moving on. I need Joe to move on!!”
“Is it me or does Kendall edit make her sound like some crazy person who is obsessed with Joe,” another asked.
“We have decided mutually to go our separate ways. Joe has made the decision to move back to Chicago while Kendall will be remaining in her hometown of Los Angeles,” they said in joint statement.
They continued: “Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people.

"We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day.
"We both respect each others’ decision and still have a great deal of love for each other. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us throughout our relationship."
