A PLACE in the Sun's Laura Hamilton was moved by a couple’s heart-breaking story - but quickly lost her patience.
Thursday's edition of the Channel 4 show saw Laura meet Susan and Matt in Crete, Greece.
The couple had been on honeymoon to the island and now wanted to make a permanent move with their dog Rufus.
They had a budget of £100,000 and specifically wanted a bungalow after Matt suffered a series of motorbike accidents which damaged his spine and made walking up stairs difficult.
Matt told Laura: "My spine has been badly damaged, and I am held together with nuts and bolts and screws."
Susan added that the warm climate had left Matt "pain free" within a day of arriving.
Laura was clearly moved by their situation and did her best to find them their dream home, but the first two properties didn't do the job, with one being described as a "box" and another "not being secure enough for the dog."
But at property three, Susan really made her feelings known, telling Laura before they had even stepped inside: "I don't like it. I don't like the access, it feels like an estate."

With a sigh, a frustrated Laura said: "I think this is going to be tougher than I first thought."
She told the couple: "I feel so frustrated as we had such a negative start with the stairs. I feel that we haven't found you the right property just yet.
"With only one sort of contender in the bag, this search is getting tough."
Thankfully, the fourth property had mountain views and was "leaps and bounds" ahead of the others.
The final property couldn't beat it either, so Susan and Matt decided to have it structurally surveyed before putting in an offer.
It was then revealed that since filming, the couple had had the survey done and were waiting for the results.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
