A Place in the Sun viewers distracted by buyer’s ‘odd’ habit – but did you spot it?

A PLACE in the Sun viewers were left distracted after they noticed a homebuyer's 'odd' habit on the show.

It came as presenter Laura Hamilton picked out some potential properties for sunseekers Paul and Julia in Tenerife.

As the couple visited the homes on sale, fans of the Channel 4 programme couldn't help but get side-tracked by where retired firefighter Paul chose to place his hand.

Rushing to Twitter to comment, one wrote: "This is the weirdest episode ever. Is that guy's hand superglued to the woman's bum? ...

"This is SO WEIRD."

As the pair toured the five choices of properties, Paul stayed by his wife's side with his arm round her and his hand resting just below her back.

Another viewer added: "I really wish he’d let go of her."

While a third queried: "He's very touchy-feely, isn't he?"

"I tell you," said one honest fan. "If my OH was constantly touching me like that, he'd be on the receiving end of a swift kick in the love spuds! #Aplaceinthesun."

Paul and Julia had a budget of £180,000 and were looking for their dream home in Costa Adeje, one of the newest resorts on the island.

Their list of requirements included a place with a pool and enough space for members of the family to visit.

But when it came down to it, a difference in opinion led the pair to held back from making an offer on any of the properties, instead choosing to continue their search.
