Who are the hosts of The View?
DAYTIME talk series The View is home to a panel of hosts who discuss the biggest media headlines.
Despite the program's decades on television, The View continues to see cast shake-ups regarding its hosting panel as many have joined and left throughout the years.
Who are the hosts of The View today?
As the show enters its 27th season, Goldberg is joined by Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
In the wake of McCain's departure from the series, a slew of guest hosts temporarily joined the panel until the seat was permanently filled.
Some of the personalities that viewers saw guest-hosting include:

On July 26, 2022, reports surfaced that revealed Alyssa Farah Griffin was scheduled to join The View panel permanently.
Insiders claimed to the that Alyssa is supposed to take over the seat left vacant by Meghan McCain, which would bring the panel back to five co-hosts.
The insider told the publication: "My jaw dropped when I was told that she was the pick. It makes no sense.
"Part of me wishes they just leaned into MAGA and hired Kimberly Guilfoyle.

"At least it would better reflect part of the audience and there would be fireworks every day."
Regarding Alyssa's hiring, the source said at the time: "Her soon-to-be co-hosts are very upset.
"They feel she isn’t authentic and changes her opinions based on who her paymaster is.
"Ana Navarro especially feels let down as they are hiring someone who was an essential part of the movement that destabilized this country."
On Thursday, August 4, 2022, Ana Navarro was announced as a permanent panelist on the program's roster along with Alyssa.
Why did Meghan McCain leave The View?
McCain joined the show in October 2017 and then announced her departure on-air in July 2021.
One of the driving forces for McCain's departure from The View was to spend more time with her husband Ben Domenech and daughter Liberty in .
However, many fans believe that the hidden reason behind her departure came after many on-air disputes with her co-hosts.
An unnamed source even told that all of the co-hosts were running out of patience with McCain.
"Everyone was at their wits' end -- even Whoopi, and she's the chillest of them all," the source said at the time.
"Whoopi is never going to advocate for anyone to get fired. She's not about that, but she was very clear that she no longer wanted to work with Meghan."
Following the end of the 24th season, McCain's last day was on August 6, 2021.
Will Alyssa Farah Griffin be a host for season 27?
Despite the tension around Alyssa joining the seasoned panelists, she is returning for the incoming season.
The View revealed to that Alyssa alongside Joy, Ana, Sara, Sunny, and Whoopi will be reprising their roles as hosts of the show.
For the 2022-2023 TV season, The View ranked the number one spot amongst all daytime talk shows.
"I’m really proud that ‘The View’ is having this moment 26 years into its run," executive producer Brian Teta told Variety in a statement.
