Mama June’s daughter Pumpkin says she’s ‘basically had to be a mom’ to sister Alana as their mother deals with sobriety
MAMA June's daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon said that she "basically had to be a mom" to her sister Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson as their mother dealt with her sobriety.
The Mama June: Road to Redemption star dedicated National Daughters Day to the two people "that drive me up the wall" on .
Lauryn, 21, wrote that she will "forever be grateful" to her three-year-old daughter Ella.
In one of the snapshots, Ella was wearing a black and white striped dress as her hair was combed into ponytails.
The reality star mentioned: "I was able to give you life."
Lauryn added that she "basically" had to be a "mom and sister" to Alana, which "counts for you too."
In the snapshot, Lauryn had a huge smile on her face as she rested her head on Alana's shoulder.
She compared the two and continued: "You both have personalities that light up the whole world."
Lauryn continued: "Just know I’ll always stand behind you both 100% with anything. You both can conquer the world."
Pumpkin welcomed her second child, Bentley, with her husband, Joshua Efird, in July.
The star appeared to have foot the bill for Jordan’s first-class ticket and their VIP stay at a hotel on the Vegas strip.
June wrote to one of Jordan’s close family members in the comments on Facebook: "I can’t wait to see his reaction as we fly into the city at night and just to see his reaction overall while we are there but .”
