Who is Jesse Palmer?

TV personality and athlete, Palmer is no stranger to the spotlight.

Palmer has hosted on programs such as ESPN, DailyMailTV, The Food Network, and other ABC reality dating series, The Proposal.

Born on October 5, 1978 in Toronto, Palmer was the first ever athlete, out-of-country participant, and at the time youngest person to ever be the star of .

His season aired in 2004, and his final rose was given to Jessica Bowlin, although the two later broke up.

It was announced on Tuesday, September 28 that Jesse Palmer would be the newest host of the upcoming season of The Bachelor.

Did Jesse Palmer play in the NFL?

Palmer was a football player at the University of Florida between 1997 and 2000. In 2001, Palmer was drafted by the New York Giants.

Palmer played for the Giants from 2001 to 2005, when he was cut from the team. Palmer went on to train with the Minnesotta Vikings and Oakland Raiders for the 2005 season, and ended up being signed by the San Francisco 49ers. However, Palmer never ended up playing a game for any of these teams.

In 2007, he officially retired from his football career and went on to become a broadcaster.
