LOVE Island's Faye Winter has revealed a startling fact about the villa's smoking area this year.
The Devon-born 26-year-old, who came third on the show alongside Teddy Soares, explained that it was permanently empty - because not a single contestant on this year's series was a smoker.
Though the smoking area, which has been in service every year since cigarettes were banned from screen, did exist it was never used.
Asked who out of the villa's class of 2021 was a smoker during an Q&A Faye revealed: "How funny. None of us this year.
"No one smoked - so you didn't miss out on any drama whatsoever which is cool, isn't it? Yeah, no one was a smoker."
Love Island bosses brought in a smoking ban before the 2018 series, introducing a special area for people to take cigarette breaks.
To make sure no major drama could take place, the number of people visiting it at any one time was strictly limited and there was a camera there just in case.
It was brought in after complaints from viewers with ITV's Paul Mortimer revealing "more than 50 per cent of complaints about the show were about people smoking".

Before the unhealthy was banned from screens, contestants who smoked were given 20 cigarettes per day.
Among those who lit up onscreen were 2017 stars Chris Hughes, Tyla Carr and Gabby Allen, who were allowed to do do on the regular tables and chairs surrounding the pool.
