Teen Mom Mackenzie Mckee says she ‘quit all her medications’ when she moved after suffering depression over mom’s death
TEEN Mom Mackenzie Mckee revealed that she "quit all her medications" ahead of her move to Florida following her mother's death.
The TV star's mother, Angie Douthit tragically passed away in December 2019 after a battle with brain cancer.
Mackenzie reflected on her emotional recovery after losing her mother during an Instagram Q&A with fans.
When one user asked her how she handled the big move with her kids from Oklahoma to Florida, Mackenzie admitted how seamless the transition was.
"Easiest thing I ever did," she responded.
"I quit all my meds. Packed in a tub, drove, and healed."
The 26-year-old recently confessed that she "crawled out of a very dark scary place mentally" .
She elaborated in a tweet writing: "Florida has helped me heal, see more, thrive, and crawl out of a very dark scary place mentally. The sunny state has my heart."
