My fourth baby left me completely mental and vomiting 24/7, says Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page
GAVIN and Stacey’s Joanna Page has revealed how her latest pregnancy has sent her ‘completely mental’ and vomiting ’24/7′.
The 44-year-old actress revealed she was expecting baby number four with husband James Thornton back in August.
The baby came as a surprise to the couple, who already have children Eva, eight, Kit, six, and Noah, four.
And speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Joanna admitted her latest pregnancy hasn’t been any easier than her past ones.
She said: “Oh my god it’s insane, yes. I think I’m starting to come out of the nesting phase and coming into the last run now where I’m completely and utterly exhausted because the last few weeks, James has been shell shocked.
“The last few weeks I have gone completely and utterly mental. I’m bordering from extreme tiredness to I’ll get up in the morning so hyper because I’ve got so many things to do.
“I’m like, ‘we’ve got to do this and this and this, I’ve got to sort this out and do this.’ He just sits there shell shocked listening to this complete fireball of energy, I’m demented.
“Then I hit a certain point and there’s nothing else from me then. I’ve got to go to bed. I mean, I’m in bed by 8pm now. Every night. Boom, out cold.”
Joanna has also had to juggle filming the new series of Shop Well For Less alongside her parenting and nesting duties, and that hasn’t always been easy thanks to pregnancy-related sickness.
She said: “I only stopped taking my anti sickness tablets about two weeks ago.
“I had morning sickness with all three of my other kids, it was horrendous, but I’ve never had to take anti-sickness tablets. I was miserable, throwing up 24 hours a day.
“With this one I was absolutely fine until I hit the six week mark. I had a week of feeling amazing, and then I couldn’t stop being sick.
“One night it was from 3am to 6am. It was just horrendous.”
