FORMER Bachelor host Chris Harrison is now engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Zima months after he was fired from the show over the racist scandal.
Chris, 49, shared the engagement news over on his .
In the snapshot, Lauren, 33, appeared to be in great spirits as she stared at her engagement ring.
The former Bachelor host got down on one knee to ask his girlfriend to marry him.
The two appeared to be standing near the cliff of a mountain.
A round table with a white cover can be spotted next to the newly engaged couple.
He told his followers on social media that he was in "love" with Lauren.
Chris captioned the post: "The next chapter starts now!"

ABOUT LAUREN
Chris' fiancee hails from Elgin Township, IL.
She also studied journalism at the University of Missouri.
Her first touch with fame was when she appeared on MTV's Disaster Date back in 2010.
Lauren is now a senior producer and host on Entertainment Tonight.
Last year, Chris and Lauren had spent quarantine together during the pandemic lockdown.
Back in April 2020, he told : “I think it’s helped bring us closer together.

THE SCANDAL

Bachelor fans were shocked when the long-time Bachelor host was replaced by Tayshia Adams, 30, and Kaitlyn Bristowe, 35, due to the backlash over his "racist" comments.
Also in June, the former host announced his permanent departure from the dating competition show.
He wrote: "I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter.
"I’m so grateful to Bachelor Nation for all of the memories we’ve made together.
He concluded: "While my two-decade journey is wrapping up, the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime."
Chris allegedly exited the ABC show with an eight-figure payoff.
'WE MISS HIM'
Then in July, Chris confessed on social media admitted that he "truly" missed his fans after being let go from the show.
