Coronation Street spoilers: Debbie Webster takes drastic action against Ray Crosby to free Faye Windass from prison
CORONATION Street villain Ray Crosby will make a shock return next week - as Debbie Webster visits him in prison.
The serial rapist - who is played by actor Mark Frost in the ITV soap - is currently in prison awaiting attempted murder and sexual assault charges.
He tried to kill Debbie when she turned on him over their plans to redevelop the cobbles.
She had successfully managed to take all his businesses from him leaving him penniless, and to retaliate he locked her in a freezer and left her to die.
The villain had also sexually assaulted Faye Windass - leaving her traumatised.
She in turn had tried to kill him - but in a case of mistaken identity attacked Adam Barlow by accident.
Next week Faye will be visited by dad Tim and it’s clear she isn’t coping well in prison.
So Debbie decides to take matters into her own hands and starts digging into Ray’s crimes to find something to use against him.
And she does - as she finds proof he paid someone to create the sinkhole in the Platts’ garden.
It led to the deaths of Johnny Connor and unwittingly Natasha Blakeman.
Visiting him in prison she tells him that unless he pleads guilty to sexually assaulting Faye, she’s going to report him to the police for the death of Johnny Connor.

With the sexual assault confession in, it will mean Faye has a chance at appealing her sentence for attacking Adam.
And the soap has already revealed it will be successful.
