EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt set to infuriate estranged wife by buying £100k camper van
EASTENDER Adam Woodyatt is set to infuriate his estranged wife further after buying a brand new camper van for nearly £100,000.
The actor — soon to join I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here — splashed out on the Carthago motor home last week.
Wife Beverley, 56, is said to be struggling financially and surviving on hand-outs from loved ones since they split last summer after 22 years.
She was furious after he signed a six-figure deal with ITV to appear on I’m a Celeb, which starts next Sunday.
Adam, 53, made the pricey purchase from a showroom in Lincoln. The Sun understands he traded in his old vehicle.
The star — who has played Ian Beale in the BBC soap since 1985 — has been living in a motor home while touring with a theatre production.
A source said: “He’s spared no expense. It might please him, but it’s not going to put a smile on Beverley’s face. She’s said to be struggling.”
