Strictly’s Janette Manrara breaks down in tears live on TV as she receives birthday message from her family from abroad

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Janette Manrara was left in tears today after she received a birthday message from her family in Miami, Florida.

The pro dancer was seen wiping her eyes on today's BBC Morning Live after watching the heartfelt video in studio.

Sharing the clip on her Instagram, the presenter, who turned 33 today, captioned the post: "The best birthday present I could ask for….. ❤️."

"I miss you so much! Cannot wait to be able to come home and give you all the biggest hugs! I love you."

In the short video, the It Takes Two host's family sent their well wishes and love to her on her special day.

Her sister Lesly began: "We're so sad we can't spend it with you in person but we're with you in spirit today and always.

While her brother Alejandro added: "I'm so proud of you, we're so proud of you.

"You've accomplished every single milestone you've push yourself through in your life. I love you and we miss you."

Her siblings and parents rounded off the message with "Happy Birthday. Only up from here".

And while Janette was overcome with emotion in studio, many of her 475,000 followers rushed to wish her a great birthday and commented how "lovely" the message was.

One penned: "Can’t beat family, how really really lovely 🎂 🌱💕🌱."

"Happy Birthday beautiful Janette 🎉🎉🎂🎂. Best wishes for your next year and beyond," another added.

A third penned: "So lovely this message from home Happy birthday janette ❤️."

While pals Julien MacDonald wrote: "Love this ❤️❤️❤️ such an amazing family you have Janette xxx."

"Your mum with thumbs up 😩♥️," commented former Strictly star Gemma Atkinson.

Elsewhere, Janette was pictured passionately kissing her husband Aljaž Škorjanec after he was booted off the show on Sunday.

The 31-year-old star's emotional reaction to his and celeb partner Sara Davies' departure sparked speculation that he'd quit the programme and will not be returning to the series next year.

And amid his tears, former Strictly pro Janette was on hand to comfort the Slovenian hunk, with the two cuddling up in the back of their car.

While their driver took them back to their home, Janette affectionately leaned in to her husband, who was wearing a bold blue leopard print hoodie.

The happy couple have been loved-up since 2009, tying the knot in 2017 and consistently avoiding the infamous Strictly Curse despite both being stars of the show.

In fact, Janette actually credits the hit BBC show for saving their relationship as they were on the verge of splitting before being snapped up by bosses in 2013.

The couple first met while performing in Broadway's Burn The Floor, and toured the world together - but with the tour drawing to a close the couple faced a difficult long-distance relationship.

While she prepared to jet back to LA, Aljaž was going to return to Slovenia.

During his and Sara's elimination last night, Strictly viewers were left convinced that Aljaž accidentally let slip that he'd quit the hit series.

Weeping as he paid tribute to the Dragon's Den favourite after they lost their dance-off against Tilly Ramsay, the emotional dancer said that he'd "miss everything about this show".
