I’M A Celebrity’s Richard Madeley has been forced to quit after being rushed to hospital in the early hours of November 25, 2021.
The 65-year-old TV presenter left production staff and his fellow co-stars worried after falling ill in Gwrych Castle.

Richard has been forced to quit I'm A Celebrity after he was sent to A&E after worrying production staff and his fellow co-stars with a sudden illness.
The presenter released a statement saying: “Hello all! Richard here – firstly just to say that I’m absolutely FINE.
"I started to feel briefly unwell in the small hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"By leaving the camp, I had consequently broken the Covid ‘bubble’ and as such I’ve had to leave the castle and all the wonderful celebs that remain in the camp.
“Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority.
"I’m incredibly excited to watch their journey continue…even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle…
“Thank you to everyone who supported me on my brief but completely unforgettable adventure – I’ve made some great friends and honestly had the time of my life.”

Why is Richard Madeley in hospital?
An ITV spokesperson said about the I'm A Celeb 2021 contestant: "Richard was unwell in the early hours and was immediately seen by our on-site medical team.
"He's since been taken to hospital as a precaution, the health and safety of our campmates is our priority."
Speaking about Mr Madeley’s illness a source told The Sun: “It was horrifying - campers were really upset and concerned, all of the crew and medics rushed to set to help him.
“It was a real scare for everyone involved.”
The news comes just after Richard took part in the Kitchen Nightmares challenge, which saw him dive down a chute and be drenched in mouldy fruit and vegetables as he searched for the stars.
He was left disappointed after only returning with four out of ten stars after he struggled to untie the knots.
Richard appeared to be in good health during the trial and was seen to be laughing with the show hosts’ Ant and Dec throughout the challenge.

When will Richard Madeley be back on GMB?
The ITV I'm A Celebrity star will reportedly not be returning to Good Morning Britain on Monday as he is too ill to come back despite reassuring fans that he is fine.
Speaking about whether or not the TV presenter will be on the breakfast show to discuss his I'm A Celeb experience next week, co-host Ben Shephard admitted that bosses were unsure whether Richard would be well enough to appear.
He shared: "Apparently we'll be talking to him on Monday.
"Maybe we won't. We're hearing he's too ill"
Ben concluded: "Okay, hopefully we'll talk to Richard on Monday."
What is the latest on Richard Madeley?
An ITV spokesperson told : "Our strict Covid protocols means Richard has sadly had to leave the show as he is no longer in the bubble the celebrities form when entering the castle.
"He has been a truly brilliant camp mate and we thank him for being part of this series."
On November 25, 2021, the TV presenter was seen by an on-site medical team before being admitted to hospital as a precaution.
A spokesperson from the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.43am this morning, Thursday November 25, to reports of a medical emergency at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, Conwy.
“We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and an emergency ambulance to the scene, and one patient was taken to hospital.”
Sources say the presenter is "on the mend".
Richard will be speaking with Ant & Dec which will be featured in tonight's (November 26) show.
