Teen Mom Mackenzie McKee goes on Thanksgiving run with daughter Jaxie, 7, in honor of beloved late mom Angie
TEEN Mom Mackenzie McKee went on a Thanksgiving run with her daughter Jaxie, seven, in honor of her beloved late mom Angie.
Mackenzie's mother passed after a battle with cancer in 2019, and the Teen Mom is keeping her legacy alive in the sweetest way.
Mackenzie posted photos of her and Jaxie going for a run along with throwback photos of the Teen Mom and her mother running a local turkey trot together.
The 27-year-old wanted to pass on the torch of the lovely tradition she shared with her mom to Jaxie.
The Teen Mom posted a heartwarming tribute as a caption to the shared photos.
She began: "Every year I ran a turkey trot with my mom. She ran one just weeks before she passed.
"My daughter woke me up this morning to run one with me and not only did she kill it but at the finish line she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, 'Momma, nanny was watching me the whole time.'"
Earlier today, Mackenzie posted an additional throwback photo with her mother lounging on a couch with her sisters Whitney and Kaylee as their mother laid across their laps.

Mackenzie captioned the post: "The last Thanksgiving with momma bear.
"This Thanksgiving my love and prayers goes out to everyone who is spending it without a loved one."
Fans rained in comments of well wishes and sympathy for Mackenzie and her family.
'EVIL!'
Mackenzie slammed her co-stars for sharing an "evil" clickbait story about her late brother Mike.
She revealed earlier in November that Mike, who had Down Syndrome, died of a blood clot when she was 11.
Hours later, a misleading article about the tragedy started appearing on Mackenzie's co-stars' Instagram stories.
The likes of Jade Cline and Briana DeJesus shared the post - which had a picture of Mackenzie crying with the headline: "Mackenzie confirms her sibling died."
Mackenzie hit out at the post in an Instagram Live, claiming that initially the people behind the article wanted the headline: "Mackenzie confirms her brother's dead."
The MTV star was angered because she has another brother, Zeke, who her family and friends might assume was dead after seeing the caption.
She said: "Everyone knows I have a brother who is alive, he works for me. It sounds pretty insensitive. This is a really touchy topic.
"This is about my brother, who passed away. You're trying to make people think my brother who is alive is dead, or this is recent. He died 15 years ago."
Mackenzie then went on Instagram and was shocked to see that some members of the Teen Mom franchise had shared the story.
She reported: "I get on social media media and they've all posted it. This is no hate towards anyone because I know they probably don't even know it's up."
"This clickbait stuff is not okay. It's toxic and it's evil and it's spreading lies about each other. It is not a good way to make money.
"How do you think this makes me feel? You're talking about my dead brother."
Mackenzie revealed on Wednesday that she was just 11 when her brother Mike tragically passed away.
Mike was adopted by MacKenzie's parents Brad and Angie when his own parents died.
He died 18 years after being adopted.
MACK'S PAIN
She wrote in an Instagram Q&A: "He passed away when I was in middle school. A huge blessing in my life.
"My mom found out his bio mom had passed and he needed a home. She said God told her to take him in. This was before I was born.
"Him and I fought like crazy. He passed from a blood clot and my sisters found him when I was in middle school the year I was diagnosed with type 1 [diabetes]."

The mother-of-three went on: "I went a bit wild after that and got pregnant shortly after. I know he gave our momma the biggest hug when she arrived in heaven."
