Workmen spent yesterday desperately trying to make repairs after ITV producers were forced to evacuate the celebs and cancel two episodes over safety fears.

The show is set to return this evening — although bosses are facing the prospect they will again have to remove the stars from the Grade II-listed building.

It is predicted that a 700-mile wide Arctic weather front will sweep over the castle in Abergele, Conwy, in the coming days.

Snow is forecast for Thursday and Friday — with temperatures in the area scheduled to plummet to minus 5C, making it colder than Moscow.

The Met Office warned Storm Barra was brewing.

A highlights show, hosted by Joel Dommett, 36, on Saturday, looked back at the glory days of the reality show during its time in sunny Australia – and that made fans pine even more for a jungle series.

ITV moved the celebs on Saturday back into isolation so as not to break the Covid-19 bubble, keeping the show secure.
