Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar appear in Christmas parade just hours before their son Josh’s child pornography trial
JIM Bob and Michelle Duggar looked cheerful as they attended a Christmas parade over the weekend despite their son Josh's looming child pornography trial.
The Counting On stars have continued to celebrate the holidays with loved ones while Josh prepares for his Tuesday hearing.
Jim Bob, 56, and Michelle, 55, appeared in a Christmas parade with their kids and grandkids over the weekend.
The reality stars smiled cheerfully on a float while holding their granddaughter Gracie as they were carted between trees covered in string lights and festive decorations.
The pair seemed entirely unbothered by their son Josh's November 30 child pornography trial.
The snap was reshared by a fan on , who noted that the couple were participating in the "Springdale Christmas parade" with their son Jed and his wife Katey.
Fans were stunned by the family's optimism despite the grim accusations against their eldest son.
"Imagine having so much misplaced confidence that you put yourself, your family, and your complete sham of a political run in a public parade less than 48 hours before your son’s trial for CSAM begins," one ranted.

They added: "Oh to have the bravado of a mediocre white man in America…."
"Why are they smiling like nothing wrong when their golden boy is about to stand trial for a hideous crime?" a second agreed.
A third guessed: "These a**holes won't be smiling in 2 weeks," while a fourth ripped: "They should have Josh on their lap if they think he is so innocent."
"These people have no shame. It’s incredible," another put shortly.
JOSH'S FATE AWAITS
Josh Duggar, 33, is just hours away from his trial facing charges of one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
The former star has been on home confinement until his trial and has been living with third party custodians LaCount and Maria Reber, who are longtime friends of his parents.
Back in April, Josh pleaded not guilty to the charges, however Homeland Security special agent Gerald Faulkner said at a May court hearing that downloads made from a specific file were "in the top five of the worst of the worst that I've ever had to examine."
The postponed trial could last up until December 3rd.
PAST INDISCRETIONS
The Sun exclusively revealed from court papers that the state plans to use his past molestation scandal, which he was never charged for, at the trial and is asking the court for permission to do so on November 29.
In 2015, a police report was published that revealed his dad Jim Bob confessed to local authorities that Josh fondled the breasts and genitals of five young girls while they were asleep in the family home back in 2006.
The state plans to use the police report at trial, as it shows his alleged “sexual interest in young girls.”
Josh fought back against prosecution being able to mention the molestation scandal, and a judge will rule on the argument today.
Recently, at a hearing in federal court, the prosecution mentioned Josh's father would be one of their proposed witnesses.
