Amy Duggar poses outside new home with husband Dillon & son Daxton just before cousin Josh’s child pornography trial
AMY Duggar was all smiles as she posed outside her new home with her husband, Dillon King, and their son Daxton, two, in new photos.
The 35-year-old is ready for a fresh start as she distances herself from her extended family ahead of her cousin Josh’s upcoming child pornography trial.
Despite the scandal that rocked the Duggar family earlier this year, Amy showed she still had a lot to be grateful for as she held hands with her husband and son on Thanksgiving.
The trio stood on the lawn outside their new house and smiled for the camera while enjoying the sunny day.
In the first photo, they all kept their feet on the ground while holding hands, the 2-year-old in the middle.
The second snap featured the happy family having a little extra fun as mom and dad swung Daxton into the air, keeping a safe hold on his hands the whole time.
A large “K” decoration, for their last name King, could be seen outside the house, set up right by the front door.
Amy captioned the post: “So very thankful!
“Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
The Counting On alum and her husband Dillon sold their house for $350,000 earlier this month.
The home also has a studio apartment with a living space, kitchenette, bathroom and third bedroom.
Not long after, Amy posted a photo inside her new house on her Instagram Stories with the caption: “Coming together!!”
The photo featured hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, and moving boxes.
FAMILY DRAMA
Amy has been estranged from most of the Duggar family for a while now, though she remains close with her cousin Jill, and it's only gotten worse since Josh's arrest.
Josh was arrested in April and has been charged with one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
The trial is set to begin on November 30.
Josh’s wife Anna, who recently gave birth to their seventh child, is standing by her husband.
Meanwhile, Amy has often been outspoken against her cousin Josh.
“I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served.”
She later described the plot of the Disney movie 101 Dalmatians to describe her wishes for the situation.
