Towie’s Liam Gatsby and Dani Imbert split just weeks after going ‘official’
TOWIE'S Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell and Dani Imbert have split just weeks after making their relationship "official".
The music producer, 33 and Dani, 23, have called it quits for good after their romance hit a brick wall.
Viewers watched as their relationship was put under the spotlight and the couple were rocked by split rumours earlier this year.
The Essex pair have now unfollowed each other on social media and Dani has deleted all traces of her former beau.
The couple have not posted together in recent weeks, with the last snap shared by Liam nearly a month ago.
A source told The Sun: "It's not looking good for them.
"Everyone at Towie would be really upset if they're over for good as a lot of people really like Dani."
However, a rep for Liam has said that the pair are still together.
But clearly, Dani and Gatsby were keen to keep any drama for the cameras, because hours later, Gatsby reactivated his account and the pair refollowed each other - so fans will have to wait to see it play out onscreen.
Liam and Dani's blossoming romance was at the centre of last series - as Liam finally asked Dani to be his girlfriend.
The couple confessed their love for each other back in June, and looked to be going from strength to strength in their social media snaps.
ESSEX DRAMA
But their romance had been rocked by cheating rumours.
Last month, fellow Towie star Chloe Brockett, 20, was forced to deny kissing Gatsby after Dani threw out accusations on social media.
"I have never in my life kissed Gatsby, ever," Chloe told her fans in an emotional Instagram video.
The Essex favourites were also forced to deny split rumours three months ago.
At the time, an insider told The Sun that the pair are very much still together following speculation.
Followers began to speculate that the two were no longer together.
A Towie source told The Sun: "They have not split - they're very much together despite the rumours."
Meanwhile, Dani appeared to reflect on her love life in a cryptic social media post about "only having one life".
"Been thinking a lot about life lately and it's only sunk in that you only get one life, you don't get another go at it," the Instagram stories post read.
"Never give a f*** about what anyone thinks about you, life's too short to be anything but happy," the quote concluded.
Their split also comes after fellow co-star Roman Hackett came to blows with his best pal Dani in an explosive finale showdown.
Roman furiously branded Dani a "f***ing joke" and stormed off in row over her relationship with Gatsby.

Tensions boiled over as Roman took aim at the couple.
Viewers watched Roman and Dani have a heart to heart, in which he asked: "Are you two perfect now then, yeah?"
She replied: "Not perfect, no one's perfect."
However, she insisted they didn't argue.
Later in the day, tempers flared as Roman asked her: "Have you said to me before you're not happy with Gatsby."
The man in question could only watch on awkwardly as his teary girlfriend replied: "Maybe I've confided in you a bit too much. Maybe it's insecurity, whatever."
That seemed to trigger Roman, who went off in a rage.
He said: "Crack on with your fake relationship, yeah.
"You're a f***ing joke."
Addressing the drama on The Sun's Towie Afterparty, Gatsby told host Bobby Norris: "Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
"Sometimes it is difficult everyone putting their two pence in. But at the end of the day we haven't got to sit there and prove to everybody whether we want to be together or not. All that matters is we're happy and we want to be together."
MUM'S THE WORD
Liam also revealed that he planned on giving Dani the boot if his mum didn't approve of her once she returned to the UK.
Liam explained his mum is currently living it up in Los Angeles where she's been indulging in fancy luncheons at Beverly Hills.
But when she returns home, she's finally set to meet Dani face-to-face, and if things don't get well, Liam said he's got no problem with pulling the plug on their romance.
"It would be over," he said. "My mum's opinion means so much to me and obviously my mum and my girlfriend, wife, whatever you want to call it, have to get on."
"They have to get on," he added.
Gatsby joined the Towie cast back in 2015 as Lydia Bright's best pal - and has since become a fan favourite.
