Countryfile star Julia Bradbury reveals ‘chink of good news’ amid breast cancer battle
COUNTRYFILE star Julia Bradbury has revealed her "chink of good news" amid her breast cancer battle.
The 52-year-old shared the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with the disease in September.
Since her diagnosis, Julia has bravely shared everything about her diagnosis with fans on social media.
Yesterday she revealed that she's finally been able to have a full night rest for the first time since September
Julia posted a snap of her tucked up in bed with the caption: "Morning all. Had my first full night of sleep last night, since my diagnosis.
"No middle of the night wake-up. Whoop whoop.
"Have a good day folks. It's all about the little chinks of 'good'. Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day."
The star went on to share how she's managed to improve her sleeping pattern.

Julia continued: "By the way for this struggling with sleep in this instance I asked Rupert, an amazing reflexologist, to concentrate on my sleep (lots of big toe work!) - and voila.
"I also intermittently use peppermint CBD oil by @dreem_distillery."
She also shared a number of rules that she follows including not eating too late, turning off main lights stop screen time and go to bed at the same time every night.
The mother-of-three underwent her mastectomy in October, a month after her diagnosis.
Julia, who co-presented the BBC One programme from 2004 to 2014, found a lump in her breast last year, which proved to be a cluster of benign micro-cysts.
She revealed that she was going to have her left breast removed, along with the six centimetre tumour.
Last month The Sun revealed that the brave star has now agreed to the fly-on-the-wall film after “a massive outpouring” of support.
A source said: “Julia has spoken openly about her diagnosis and treatment, because she wants to help other women out there in a similar position.
“She is also very committed to raising awareness. And she has been pleasantly surprised by the response — she has received hundreds of messages of support since her diagnosis.”
Many were from women also battling cancer, who thanked her for being so open.

The source added: “So when she was approached to make a documentary, she felt it was important to say yes.
“It is going to be a really powerful, emotional watch.”
