Jill Duggar spends time with adorable son Samuel, 4, in the library after defying dad Jim Bob by dying her hair BLONDE
JILL Duggar enjoyed an outing at the library with her youngest child, Samuel after giving herself a beauty makeover.
The 30-year-old debuted her new blonde locks last week amid her brother Josh's child pornography trial.
On Tuesday, the reality star shared a sweet snap on of the mother-son pair as they bonded over their love of books.
Jill smiled alongside the four-year-old as they both pulled their masks below their chin for the photo.
The TV star tied back her lighter hairstyle into a long ponytail and a thick headband.
She captioned the post: "📚story time at the library ❤️"
Jill took to the she shares with Derick to give fans a look at her new blond hair with a series of photos.
The star posed at multiple angles to give fans a good look at her lighter hair.

Her locks cascaded past her shoulders in loose waves, while Jill was clearly happy with the final product as she smiled in the snaps.
The blog post was simply titled: "Jill's new look."
One day later, Jill took to Instagram to share a video documenting the transformation process as her hair was dyed from brunette to blond.
Following the posts, she shared another pic showing off her makeover on the platform, getting a snap of Samuel helping her put earrings on.
Alongside the sweet snap, the Counting On alum wrote: “My little earring helper. He always asks to help pick them out and put them in.”
FANS' PRAISE
Shortly after sharing the post, fans rushed to the comments section to compliment the TV personality’s newly dyed hair.
One person wrote: “Blonde looks amazing on you!”
Another added: “Love your hair! Sending prayers for you especially this week, stay strong.”
A third chimed in: “Your hair looks amazing and know a slew of people of praying for you.”
The compliments continued as another Instagram user wrote: "Jill, you’re are absolutely gorgeous no matter your hair color … this however I truly feel like makes you look like you are SUPER confident as the beautiful, smart , wise and passionate woman that Jesus designed for you to be.”
An additional fan commented: "LOVE your hair!!! It suits you perfectly!!"
The mom-of-two's hair color change goes against the family's strict Christian rules implemented by her father Jim Bob, which she has defied numerous times in the past.
In addition to Samuel, Jill also shares son Israel, six, with husband Derick Dillard, 32.
COURT HEARING
Jill was expected to testify this week in Josh's court hearing along with their brother Jedidiah, however, both ended up not taking the stand.
Jill and Jedidiah, 32, were on the witness list, but did not end up appearing for the defense or prosecution.
Former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh was charged earlier this year with two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography.
Josh, 33, who has pleaded not guilty, was accused of possessing sick images of CSAM that were "the worst of the worst" that authorities had ever seen.
Josh's trial is expected to last into this week. If found guilty, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
FAMILY TENSION
Jill's husband Derick had an "awkward" run-in with the patriarch of the family Jim Bob while attending the trial.
According to The Sun reporter inside the trial, Derick has been sitting in the front row of the courtroom, right next to Josh's wife Anna, since day one.
Earlier today, when Jim Bob approached Anna during a break, he passed Derick, and offered only a simple "hello."
Derick said a faint "hi" back.
As Jim Bob hugged his daughter-in-law and stayed in the first row, Derick moved to the back, to sit with Jason, Joy-Anna, her husband Austin Forsyth, Jana and other loved ones.
Our reporter noted the environment around the scattered family was "awkward and cold."
Derick did not return to the front row when the break ended even though there was seating available.
The anxiety between Derick, his wife Jill, and Jim Bob dates back years.
In 2015, it was revealed that Jill along with sister Jessa, were two of five female minors Josh had allegedly molested in the early 2000s.
Jill and her husband Derick exclusively told The Sun at the time they "hope justice is done" after Josh was arrested on two counts of child pornography.
