Amy Duggar says ‘watching multiple kids is hard’ after cousin Jana is charged with endangering the welfare of a child
AMY Duggar said “watching multiple kids is hard" just a few days after her cousin Jana was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The 35-year-old has been nothing but open with her thoughts as her famous family continues to be surrounded by controversy.
Amy took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to defend Jana following the charge, writing: “I will call out what is right and I will call out what is wrong. This couldn’t have been intentional. Thank God the child was ok and found!
“I bet you were exhausted, stressed, and just emotionally worn out.
“Watching multiple kids is hard! Bc there’s so many of them and you only have two eyes!!”
The post concluded: “It’s a very sad situation going on and my heart goes out to @janamduggar love you.”
AMY'S SHADE?
Amy showed her support for Jana shortly after Counting On fans wondered if she was shading her cousin in an Instagram Story post.
Alongside a photo of her son Daxton, two, watching TV, Amy wrote: "I'm home with little man! We have jumped on the trampoline, built huge towers with blocks, read books and now a little lunch/screen time!

Amy quickly deleted the post, though fans captured the snap and shared it on
Fans rushed to the thread to note Amy's comment was a "obvious dig" at Jana, as one wrote: "Amy’s out with the claws!"
However, another noted Amy's supportive post for Jana as they said: "She just posted in support of Jana, so I can’t imagine this was a jab at her."
Amy, who is estranged from the Duggar family- shares Daxton with husband Dillon King.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, live a more rebellious lifestyle than her conservative family members.
JANA'S CHARGE
was first to report the news of Jana's charge- it was also confirmed by The Sun.
According to court papers, the 31-year-old was charged on September 10 and posted $430 bail.
She had pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Jana's next court date is on January 10, 2022 at 1:30 pm, a clerk confirmed to The Sun.
Per Arkansas law, these charges can be either a “class A or B misdemeanor,” and penalties can include anything from jail time to fines.
JOSH'S VERDICT
The latest Duggar legal drama comes after Josh was was found guilty of both possessing and receiving child pornography.
Right after the verdict was revealed, the ex-reality star was ordered straight into custody.
The 33-year-old looked back at his family when the court read out that he was found guilty.
While he didn’t cry, Josh was “teary-eyed” and “solemn” as he was cuffed, according to The Sun's reporter at the scene.
The Counting On alum stopped as he was being taken away to tell his wife Anna that he “loved” her.
Family patriarch, Jim Bob, consoled Anna, though neither were visibly emotional.
JOSH'S SENTENCING
Judge Timothy L. Brooks said he hopes to be able to schedule the sentencing for Josh in four months.
He added: “Mr. Duggar 100% has been compliant awaiting trial.
