Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan looks unrecognisable as pop star past in group formed by Spice Girl is revealed
CORONATION Street star Charlotte Jordan has been spotted looking unrecognisable in a throwback snap from her pop star past.
The soap actress, who joined the cobbles as Daisy Midgeley in November 2020, was previously in a singing group formed by one of the Spice Girls.
Charlotte, 26, may now best be known as Daisy on Corrie, but acting is not the only talent that the star has flexed outside of the cobbles.
The multitalented young actress competed in dancing and singing competitions as a child - making her the perfect candidate for a pop career.
After making her debut in an episode of The Bill, as well as Nickelodeon's Summer In Transylvania series, Charlotte turned her attentions to music.
She was cast by Spice Girls legend Geri Halliwell to be part of a hip new girl group formed in 2012 - when Charlotte was just 16 years old.
Unrecognisable throwback snaps see the star posing alongside singer Geri, 49, after being scouted to take part in the group.
In one snap from 2014, Charlotte can be seen sporting a soft palette of make-up and pink lipstick as she fixes a pout for a selfie with the singing sensation.
Charlotte recently told that she was with the pop group for "two years" but it didn't launch because they "never even settled on a name".
"I was with them for over two years, but we never even got launched in the end," she explained of girlband that never was.
"We did choreography, bonded and developed a rapport and recorded a bunch of songs, but we never released a single and we never even settled on a name.

"We went through so many different names that eventually the management just referred to us as The Band. It was quite the learning curve.
"I thought maybe it would be different if I was on my own, but it wasn’t. It was only when I got a bit older that I realised acting was what I wanted."
Aside from Coronation Street, Charlotte has also starred as Gaby Grant in two seasons of Netflix series Free Rein and Lisa Nichols in Casualty.
Earlier this year, the star opened up to The Sun about becoming more recognisable since taking part in Corrie, with fans following her when she walks her dog.
Charlotte explained: “I’m not used to being recognised and if I was recognised before it was by very young children because in the stuff I’ve done before I’ve just played teenagers.
“So I've not been recognised by fully grown adults before. I did have an experience where I was walking the dog.
“I was just a bit confused because you know when you can tell someone's following you?
“This grown man was following me and I picked up the pace and then he was walking faster and I thought: ‘Oh my God, this is how I die…’

“Then he started saying my name and I was like: ‘That’s really weird, how does he know my name?’ stressing out and he was like: ‘I just want a picture!’
“I forget I’m on television. It was a bit weird, not something I'm used to.”
