LOVE Island star Demi Jones won viewers' hearts last night as she broke down in tears over her stepdad's cancer.
It came as the reality favourite revealed her own cancer battle is over - before stripping off on ITV’s Strictly The Real Full Monty to raise awareness of the disease.
Demi, 23, broke down in tears on the show as she opened up her stepdad, Adrian's terminal cancer and how the family is facing being without him.
The 46-year-old was given 12 months to live after he went to the doctors with a lump in his ear and it turned out to be stage four melanoma.
That diagnosis was 18 months ago and was given to him because his cancer had spread to his bones and other parts of his body.
Speaking to co-stars Christine McGuiness and Teddy Soares, Demi revealed the heartbreaking prospect of life without her stepdad.
"When I found out my stepdad was poorly, that was the worst time," she started.
"They told him a year and a half ago that he had 12 months to live so we have just been waiting.

"So as much as I am really bubbly and positive, that is just how I deal with things and that’s just always been my nature anyway, but when I am in private I get upset quite a lot."
Speaking directly to Adrian, she spoke about their closeness and told him: "I could not ask for a better stepdad in my life. You’ve honestly been my absolute rock my whole life and you just mean the absolute world to me."
"And I don’t tell you enough that I love you with all my heart and I can’t imagine my life without you."
Speaking about life after his death, Demi admitted: "I haven’t thought about that yet, I haven’t thought about what’s going to happen because I just can’t physically comprehend it right now."
Adrian said back to her: "It’s very difficult for me because I see what I’m going to end up leaving behind."
The touching moment had Fully Monty viewers in floods of tears.
"I can’t stop crying watching Demi and her stepdad," wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another emotional fan added: "Demi and her stepdad. I've gone."
And a third commented: "I am in bits watching this. Poor Demi going through cancer herself and her stepdad only having a year to live, life is so s**t sometimes."
Demi faced her own battle with cancer this year, after she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The ITV2 reality star took to Instagram to reveal she was cancer-free and there was "not a single cancer cell left" in her body.

She revealed to fans in May that she would need to have surgery to remove her thyroid - as well as the cancer - and would require follow-up treatment.
The star had since been sharing her journey online, opening up about the difficult realities of her treatment, which left her feeling "tired all the time".
