Court papers exclusively obtained by The Sun reveal they have been approved for an urgent home loan.

According to the Home Equity Line of Credit Deed of Trust filed on November 30, Kody and Robyn were given a loan in the amount of $130,000 by Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.

The married couple agreed to make periodic payments to pay off the debt no later than December 5, 2021.

The documents read “time is of the essence.”

According to the Deed of Trust filed on the same day, Kody and Robyn owe $548,250 as of November 24 to Moria Development, DBA Peoples Mortgage.

The Sun previously reported the Sister Wives stars applied for a home equity line of credit in the amount of $150,000 on March 20, 2020.

The maturity date on the flexible interest home equity loan is April 23, 2050, with TFC National Bank listed as the lender.

The couple purchased their 5-bed, 4-bath, 4,395 square-foot home set on two acres in Flagstaff, Arizona back in August 2019.

At that time, they put $225,000 down towards the $890,000 purchase price.

MONEY PROBLEMS

Kody, who is father to 18 children with his three wives Meri, 50, Janelle, 52, and Robyn, and ex-wife Christine, 49, has struggled with financial issues for years.

Kody blamed the family being unable to build homes on the $820,000 Coyote Pass land they bought in June 2018 on their money troubles.

The family has yet to break ground on the parcels of land.

The Sun previously reported he owes taxes on the home and land he owns with Robyn.

According to Arizona courts, the married couple has delinquent taxes in the amount of $2,056.89, which includes interest on two acres of land next to their $890,000 home.

The taxes have now been paid off.

MARITAL STRAIN

The financial strain also comes after third wife Christine, 50, announced her split from Kody in November.

She posted on Instagram: “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.

"We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.

"At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family. With love, Christine Brown.”

Kody and Christine spiritually married in 1994.

She joined his first wife Meri and second wife Janelle, as the fourth spouse, Robyn entered the family in 2010.

They share children Mykelti, Aspyn, Ysabel, Paedon, Gwendlyn and Truley.

Christine sold her Arizona home and is now renting a $1.1million duplex home in Murray, Utah.

She said on the recent season of Sister Wives of the family building on their property: “The best I could give today is pretend. I don’t want to move on the property. I want to move back to Utah.

“Why would I want to live on the property with a dysfunctional marriage where right over there he's got a full-functioning marriage. Who would ever want to live like that?“

Kody and the sister wives shut down Christine’s request to move back to Utah now that polygamy has been decriminalized in their home state.

Kody and Christine first sparked split speculation last year when he transferred the family home to her a year before she sold the house.
