Teen Mom star Devoin Austin sparks concern as he claims 2021 was ‘the worst year of his life’ after gambling addiction
DEVOIN Austin has Teen Mom fans worried after he claimed 2021 was by far the “worst year of his life."
The 29-year-old recently admitted he has a “severe gambling problem” and sought advice from followers on how he should go about getting help.
On his Instagram Story, Devoin once again got serious with his fans and opened up about he’s truly been feeling lately.
As December starts to come to a close, he shared a tweet that said: “By far. Worst year of my life.”
He then added to the sentiment by saying that now only is that true but “it’s not even a close” competition with any other year.
Reshared on the account, the original user wrote: “Dang hope it gets better for devoin... how was everyone’s 2021?”
One concerned fan wrote: “Hoping it gets better for him.”
A second said: “Rooting for him. Always!”

“So sorry to hear so many people had a rough year! Hope it gets better for you all,” a third commented.
The realization that he's had a terrible year comes after the MTV star admitted that he had a "gambling problem" on Instagram.
"I got a severe gambling problem and need serious help. Any recommendations?" he asked his following alongside a red SOS emoji.
"Please help me," Devoin begged.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm not like selling my s*** to gamble or that f***ed up. But I'm noticing I spend vacations in the casino and that really bothers me.
"I just can't get right," he concluded the statement.
Along with struggling with gambling issues this year, Devoin has also continued to feud with his baby mama Briana DeJesus, including over financial matters.
The two, who share 10-year-old daughter Nova, have only recently started to improve their co-parenting relationship.
The Teen Mom has repeatedly claimed that he doesn't give enough financial support for their child, as well as give enough of his time.
When Briana criticized Devoin for not financially supporting Nova during a reunion, he insisted he’s been helping out since getting a new job.
However, the mother of two argued: “Now that you’re able to do it, you should do it because the last time you helped financially, as far as a bill, was a while ago, was a few months ago.”
He told her to “have a number set” to pay her, though she responded: “Every time we speak out our financial situation, you get offensive.”
Devoin then called out Briana for her own expensive spending habits and she told him to “shut the f**k up” as they yelled over each other.
Despite their problems, the pair reunited for Thanksgiving, celebrating with their daughter Nova, as well as Briana's other daughter, Stella, who she shares with ex Luis Hernandez.
Devoin shared a photo of the sisters posing together in his kitchen.
Stella looked adorable in a pink dress as she threw up a peace sign, while Nova was stylish in plaid pink pants and a maroon turtleneck.
The MTV star captioned the photo: “Turkey Turkey, Gobble Gobble love ya kiddddos. 🤎21’.”
Briana and her baby daddy also put their rocky past aside to go trick or treating with the kids for Halloween.
The father of one shared a slew of photos and videos from the holiday, as he sought out candy alongside his child.
The TV personality wore a red devil costume, complete with ram horns and a mane of fur.
