fourth time lucky

I’m marrying Carl in England so my terminally ill mum can be there, says Katie Price as she reveals wedding plans

KATIE Price says she will marry her toyboy fiance Carl Woods in England this year so her terminally ill mum can be there.

The 43-year-old appeared on Good Morning Britain today claiming "2022 will be my year" after she narrowly avoided jail over her drink-drive crash.

Despite admitting she is still dealing with the "traumatic" events that led her to get behind the wheel, mum-of-five Katie wants to have more children and get married this year.

She says it's crucial her mum Amy - who has a life-limiting lung condition called idopathic pulmonary fibrosis - is at her fourth wedding.

Devastated Katie told last year how the 67-year-old "doesn't have long left to live".

Katie told hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Bacon: "This is the year for me - babies, marriage I want it all.

"I've definitely found the one with Carl. We will get married.

"It'll be in England because my mum is terminally ill and can't travel. I wouldn't want to get married without her there."

Katie added: "2022 is definitely my year. 22 is my lucky number, it's my birthday.

"This has to be my year of no dramas. So much happened last year.

"I am in a very good head space."

Katie was appearing on Good Morning Britain alongside her disabled son Harvey.

The morning after she last appeared on the programme, Katie rolled her BMW in a "drink and drug drive" smash in the early hours.

Despite being on her sixth road ban she avoided jail — leaving campaigners furious at a “mockery of justice”.

Katie instead got a suspended term after rehab and a Vegas holiday.

After being quizzed on the events surrounding her drink-drive crash, Katie insisted people "shouldn't judge her".

Admitting she feels ";ashamed" about what happened, Katie said she isn't ready to talk about it.

Instead she is seeing a therapist every week - and claims 2022 will be a year of "no more dramas".

Agreeing with Susanna she was lucky to dodge spending Christmas in jail, Katie said: "Things could have been different.

"I'm not ready to talk about it yet, but I went to The Priory and now I see a therapist every week and will do forever to deal with the tragic events that led me up to that car.

"There are reasons why I got in the car and why I was in that mental state.

"I feel ashamed about it all. It was a traumatic build up. The reasons I'm still dealing with now.

"It's a new year, but I'm still dealing with it all. People shouldn't judge others. There are reasons for why people do things."
