Coronation Street fans convinced they’ve rumbled HUGE Curtis Delamere DNA twist
KEEN Corrie fans have come up with a new theory about who Ted's grandson could be.
Many viewers of the ITV soap are convinced that the late pensioner has a surprise connection with Curtis Delamere, who recently fled the cobbles.
A student hopeful to become a doctor, Curtis was portrayed by Sam Retford and was brought on to Coronation Street in May, 2021, as a love interest for established character Emma (Alexandra Mardell).
Curtis left Weatherfield in December, 2021, after 51 appearances in the ITV soap.
But some viewers are ready to see him return to Weatherfield as Ted's mystery grandson in a shocking twist.
One fan took to Facebook to share their theory: "Curtis ends up being Ted's grandson and when Emma and Faye's plan falls apart, Curtis comes to the rescue saying she was [with him] because she's his fiancée? And they end up getting back together!"
"Bet's on Ted's grandson being Curtis", responded another social media user.
A third user chimed in: "Is Curtis going to be the grandson they keep mentioning?"

The elderly man was introduced to Corrie fans when Emma Brooker and Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) accidentally ran him over during a driving lesson after New Year's Eve.
A tipsy Emma let Faye drive while Ted crossed the road unexpectedly when his shopping bag split open and the contents rolled away from him.
When both characters were helping him up and taking him away from the main road, Ted mentioned that he had a grandson named "John."
ITV viewers have speculated that John is none other Curtis, who has had a habit of being dishonest.
According to them, there's a possibility that Curtis could have gone as far as lying about his family.
Curtis was famously dumped by Emma on their wedding day, who was convinced he had stolen money from her younger brother Oliver's charity fund.

When the truth was revealed, Emma found that Curtis was struggling in his battle against factitious disorder which prompted him to lie about his heart condition.
He decided to attend a therapy sessions but, in doing so, the heartthrob chose to take the steps needed for healing alone while knowing his relationship with barmaid Emma could never be the same.
His lying tendencies could be useful to Emma who is desperate to remove all evidence of her involvement with Ted's passing.
Ted assured that he was fine after the accident, refusing to be taken to the hospital for a check up.

But when Emma and Faye went to his home to replace a pack of ginger biscuits he lost during the accident, the pair found the pensioner had died in his armchair.
However, as likely as Curtis is to defend Emma and save her from some time behind bars, he is just as likely to seal the girls' fate as revenge for being ditched.
