Teen Mom Mackenzie McKee claims MTV ‘LIED’ to her to keep her out of Family Reunion show then deletes Instagram
TEEN Mom Mackenzie McKee claimed that MTV "lied" to her to keep her out of the franchise's spin-off show, Family Reunion before deleting her Instagram page.
The reality star went on a rant over her treatment by the network saying she feels "hurt" and didn't "deserve to be lied to."
Mackenzie left her final words about the snub in a series of Instagram Stories before signing off the platform altogether.
She addressed fans comments about the situation writing: "My inbox is flooded with overwhelming messages and social media has been a rough go this week.
"What people don't understand is that I am not hurt one single I am not apart of something.
"But what does hurt, is that MTV lied to me about it all. And I had to find out via social media.
"That is 100% not the OGs fault and they had absolutely no say so."
Mackenzie continued by admitting that she was at fault for the situation getting out of hand.

"Love me or hate me, none of us deserve to be lied to by creative. This entire situation was blown up for over a year now and I take blame for how it all went down.
"My ententions were never for this to end how it did. And I would never guess being the new girl would end like this."
She concluded her message with an apology to all that got wrapped up in the drama writing: "Learning to stop reading comments sent my way and acting on them or letting them affect my mental health has been challenging.
"I have been so frustrated with people comparing mistakes. But my final words are simply an apology to everyone involved in my mess. Because of me, and I never meant harm or pain on anyone."
EVERYONE WAS INVITED?
The Teen Mom gossip page, noticed Mackenzie's abrupt signoff from the platform, capturing a screenshot of her inactive page.
They captioned the post: "As of tonight, has taken her Instagram page down. I presume she is taking a mental health break, with the upcoming reunion approaching that she claims she was not invited to and was lied to about "
The fan page also shared a including screenshots of Instagram Q&A's that fellow Teen Mom star's Jade Cline and Cheyenne Floyd had with fans, claiming that no one was deliberately left out of the show.
One user directly asked Jade: "Did all the moms get an invitation? Cause you know.. some are saying no.. lol"
Jade responded saying: "To my knowledge every mom got an invite to come"

The 27-year-old wrote back: "I was told the show wasn't even happening. but life is good. What's meant to be will be"
WHERE'S MACK?
MTV announced the new show - a watch party of sorts - back in December 2021, revealing that it would star four Teen Mom castmates - Cheyenne, Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood - reacting to episodes of the show.
The network released a teaser for the show on Tuesday, along with a preview for Teen Mom Family Reunion.
When the show was announced, the network teased some "surprise appearances," which speculated would include husbands and kids.
The site suggested that Mackenzie may appear, but noted that she had a "falling out" with the cast
In October, months before the show was announced, Catelynn a behind the scenes photo from what appears now to be a promo shoot for the show.
The photos - which did not include Mackenzie - sparked questioned from fans about why the Teen Mom OG star wasn't included.
'LEFT OUT'
When Mackenzie shared a behind the scenes shoot of her own on TikTok and Instagram, fans seized the opportunity to ask what was up.
The post included a caption that read: "Learn to find your self-worth in how God sees you. He chose YOU for this world.
"Our self-worth is not to be determined by others."
A fan commented: "You didn't go to the Teen Mom family reunion?"
Mackenzie replied: "I was not invited."
She later shared a post about being "left out," standing in solidarity with others who had been there.
The Oklahoma native wrote: "To anyone who was ever the only one left out...my love to you.
"It's definitely not easy on your mental health.
"Please choose to always remember exactly how it makes you feel and never take part in doing it to anyone else.
"Be bigger and better than that."
BACKLASH
The drama kicked off in January, after the election.
Mackenzie took to Facebook to voice her opinions on the winners, focusing on Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Teen Mom star wrote: "Sorry, no. There are a lot of amazing women in the world for my daughters to look up to and see as role models.
"Kamala Harris is not one of them."
She added: "It blows my mind that out of all the amazing colored women in this world, that is the one who is making history."
Mackenzie faced backlash from followers who called her "ignorant" and "dumb."
One user wrote: "Oh geeze. That's awful. How are people STILL this ignorant?"
Amid the criticism, Mackenzie personally apologized to Cheyenne in a tense phone call after her co-star accused of her of racism.
She's still facing fallout as a result, however.
